Qualities of a Father

The qualities of a father goes way beyond the bread winner of the family. Gone were those days when a father’s role was to find a job so he can support the home. Kamagra 25mg pills A father has a responsibility to his family not only financially but physically. Sildenafil citrate He has to be supportive of his wife and children. Here is my opinion on the qualities of a father:

Be an active listener to your child. When he is speaking to you about anything give him your undivided attention.

Pay special interest in his everyday activities whether it is academics or sports.

Allow him to make decisions on his own. You are not going to let them make a decision about something that can be harmful. So give your support.

Show respect and you will earn respect. If he has an opinion allow him to speak and you listen. He will do the same when you have an opinion.

Communication. A child needs to be able to communicate with his father. There are some issues that children will prefer to speak to Dad about rather than Mom.

Being able to stand firm when giving a punishment. You do not want to change your mind in the middle of the punishment. If you have decided to ground him for a week, well that is what it should be despite the cries and pleas.

Trust. You said you will be there and he knows you will be there. Try not to make promises that cannot be kept. Breaking promises too often destroys a relationship.

Having good qualities of a father will not only end at you. These characteristics will definitely carry on from generation to generation. A child that has a good relationship with his parents and respects them will take these morals wherever he goes.

There are many children today that refuse to talk about their Dad among their peers. This can stem from a number of things. Some fathers being trapped with the disease of alcoholism which can cause havoc in the the household.

Fathering children does not have to be a hard task. As long as you stick to the basics you will be the perfect role model for your children. They want to be able to go off to school and be able to speak about their Dad proudly.

Finally, in everything you do trust in God and lean not to your own understanding.

Which Foods Can Trigger an Acid Reflux Attack?

There are certain foods that can trigger an acid reflux attack. Acid Reflux is a health condition caused due to the acidic contents of the stomach flowing back from the stomach into the esophagus, causing heartburn and irritation of the lining.

The symptoms of this illness vary, and may not be restricted to the following:

- sour taste, burning sensation in the chest or upper abdomen and your throat’s back,

- excessive belching,

- breathing difficulties,

- intense burning in chest

- tightness of throat

If you frequently experience these symptoms, then you probably have acid reflux. Consult your doctor to confirm if that is indeed the case and then you can embark on a journey of dealing with this health disorder.

Most people resort to antacids to control attacks of acid reflux but they may detrimental in the long run. In reality as we age, the production of the much required hydrochloric acid decreases and by taking antacids we are worsening the problems.

A change in your diet is the one of the most successful ways to treat acid reflux. Studies have found that diet plays a crucial role in this digestive disorder. When we are diagnosed with any illness, we are often given a list of foods that we need to avoid and GERD or acid reflux disease is no exception.

There are certain beverages and foods which are known to cause or even incidences of an acidity attack, and the main foods are:

- chocolate

- alcohol

- fried and fatty foods

- citric fruits

- coffee and other caffeinated beverages

- spicy foods.

You may have other food triggers because certain foods may not agree with you. You can also monitor which foods lead to an acidity attack and avoiding these foods may be a good beginning. A good way to start is the elimination diet where you eliminate almost all foods except the ones that are not a threat and slowly add one food every few days and monitor the results.

You can also make dietary changes by including certain foods like green vegetables, brown rice (fiber) and a small in all your meals. As you add healthy foods, your cravings for the wrong kinds will actually reduce. Also ensure that you have your meals at the correct time. Avoiding breakfast is a no-no and may induce acidity. Other lifestyle changes may include reducing your alcohol intake, incorporating a weekly exercise routine and quitting smoking.

Self discipline is required and you may have to drop foods and habits that you enjoy. But as we know, changing your diet will not only help you with this condition but will help with other illnesses too. The benefits of a healthy way of life cannot be understated, especially with regard to the food we eat. Combining your diet with quality food supplements will enhance the conditions of your physical and mental health.

Changing your diet may be an effort you are not ready for especially if your current environment does not support it, but monitoring your foods will actually be worth it. Because once you begin, you will see results. You will also see that those delicious nachos with spicy salsa, or the extra pick-me-up cup of coffee may not give you the satisfaction you were actually craving!

How to Draw Cars Like A Pro

Cars come in all shapes and sizes from sleekly aerodynamic to boxy and large. If you have a penchant for drawing and a passion for cars, it’s only natural that you’d want to apply your drawing skills to the automobile. The problem for many, though, is trying to make the car you desire to draw actually look like the real thing when you sketch it out on paper. Even the most talented artist can struggle with drawing cars. You have probably found out how difficult it can be if you’ve ever attempted to reproduce a car on paper.

There are professionals who get paid to design and draw cars for the auto industry, and they have spent years developing specific techniques for turning out beautiful illustrations. So, does that mean that you will never be able to master the art of drawing cars in a professional style? Not if you are willing to get better at it. In fact, you can easily learn how to draw cars like a pro if you understand some of the secret techniques the professionals use to create realistic looking cars.

Prepare Your Artist Toolbox

First of all, you should stop trying to use a simple pencil for the whole drawing. Creating a car can take several different types of drawing pencils and tools. Go to the art supply store and begin picking out some quality drawing pencils that can produce various types of lines and shading. You can use regular pencils, mechanical pencils or both. Pick out several so that you can experiment with each one. Eventually, you’ll have your favorites.

Visualize the Car

Pick out a photo of a car that you would really like to draw and keep it near your drawing table. Study the various shapes and angles of each part of the car. Professional car illustrations are always in 3-D and pop off the page. You want to get a feel for visualizing all aspects of the car’s design.

Break It Down

Instead of trying to draw the whole car at one time, pick out certain sections to concentrate on. It’s always easier to take a single piece of a big job and then work on getting that part right. Afterwards, you move on to another piece of the puzzle. For instance, start with the wheels. The wheels can be fun to draw and can help you to lay down the foundation for the whole vehicle.

Learn Perspective

Putting your drawing into perspective is one of the key secrets to creating realistic cars as opposed to simple line drawings. Angles and perspectives give the illustration more sizzle.

Contrast and Shadows

Another thing you want to work on is shading and using light and dark contrasting to create more realism. For example, when you see a professional drawing of a car that has that shiny look to it, the artist used various levels of shading to create this effect.

Bring in the Color

Color really brings your car drawings to life. Experiment with different colors once you have mastered the basic drawing techniques for creating awesome car illustrations.

List of Actions to Change Your Life

Here is a List of Actions to change your life. These are habits you can get used to do, and see how your life will turn around.

1. Start reading books and watch movies about self-empowerment. Doing this will boost your energy level, and empower your general outlook on life.

2. (Heart) Write a description of your ideal relationship (you also can cut out a picture and paste your photo next to him). Feed it as many details as possible. Use your senses to imagine your vision and make it as live as possible. Then read it aloud to yourself, visualize him with all your positive emotions, as if he already is with you.

3. Try to watch/listen great public speakers such as, Wayne Dyer in public, best or on Public Television; he usually speaks on Saturday or Sundays. I strongly recommend him. He is one of the best Life Changing Philosophers and speakers.

4. Try to spend time with very positive people. They will give you a more positive outlook on your life, concerns, problems you may have. Positive people will raise your energy level, make you smile, laugh, and be in a general happy feeling state.

4b. Avoid talking with gossipers and complainers. They will lower your energy, and drain your inner power. If you happen to find yourself among such people, either invent a reason you have to leave, or change the topic of conversation to a more positive one. For instance, say, “By the way, have you seen/ heard about [positive idea/news/discovery/health improvement]?”

5. If you talk to too many people you meet about your problem, try not to do that. Talking about your problem is feeding to it, and makes it bigger and bigger! If they already know about it and want to talk about it, say “I am dealing with it right now, but I would prefer not to talk about it for now…”

6. Start your Journal of Gratitude and list each evening 5 events you are grateful for. Even the minute ones: I saw a beautiful smile, I heard a bird singing. This is always a great way to be more in the positive side, to raise your energy. By doing this, you will find more and more events to motivate you and be in a more open, happy mood. Happy mood will raise you energy, and the higher your energy, the stronger you attract good things to you.

7. Try to meditate as often as possible, in a quiet room, away from any distraction, for 10 to 15 minutes. For an effective meditation, you will need to be sitting on a chair, feet flat, with a focus on a rhythmic breathing, with a cycle of breathing such as, inhaling -pause-exhaling- pause, such as, 6 seconds-3 s-6 s-3 s, 7 s-1 s-7 s-1 s. I give you several guided meditations for you to follow on my site. Most are guided meditations.

8. From time to time, let go. that means: stop the visualization, and let God. This is where many people fail. It is easy to visualize some event, to imagine the emotions, to see what you want and what you don’t want, but to let go and let God~Universe create seems difficult, because we start to think but what do I have to let go? why do I have to lose control? Well, this is the only way to make “it” work. So, with humility, belief, and trust let’s leave it up to God~Universe and leave the rest of the “work” to Him/Her…

9. Believe. When I say “Believe” it is that you “know” your ideal life is coming. Notice the God Winks, with little clues telling you: I am on it. You will see them more and more as you go. It is like a treasure map game, where you find clues to tell you you are getting closer to the treasure.

This is my gift to you. Use this list. Energize yourself, nurture your inner mind, elevate your inner self. Great surprises are on their way. Miracles are around you, start being open and you will see them appearing to you. and your big miracles will come to you.

Never give up hope, you are Not alone. God-Source-Creator is there, watching for you. Expect miracles, and watch your life changing! Believe, believe, believe!

Wishes of Happiness, Peace, Love, Abundance to You!

PS: Food for Thought

As I was watching a shockingly bloody video on YouTube, along with a beautiful song, trying to convince viewers to take a strong stand in the Israel-Palestine conflict, I thought: Maybe it is time to ask ourselves: Should we follow blindly religious hatred? Is not the Great Creator (or whatever name you call Him/Her) Love, Peace, and Creation? or Hatred, War, and Destruction? May it is now the time to all of us turn to each other and recognize ourselves as cousins, brothers and sisters, all into one world one house, one gigantic family. Peace, Love, Happiness, and Understanding is what the Creator wants for us. Let us lay those destructive arms and embrace each other in the arms of Peace and Humanity. Let us think: What I see in the world is a reflection of how I think. It is time now to stop hurting children, women, and men, and the right time for wisdom in accepting and loving each other.

OR: Should we follow blindly religious hatred? Is the Creator Love, Peace, and Creation? or Hatred, War, and Destruction? Now is the time for us to turn to each other & recognize our cousins; our gigantic family. Peace, Love, Happiness, and Understanding is what the Creator wants for us. Let us lay those weapons, embrace each other in Peace.Time to say: What I see in the world is the reflection of how I think. It is time now to stop hurting children, women, men, and wisdom to accept, love each other.

Peace and Happiness to you!

Grab These 2 Great Ab Workouts Right Now And Start Strengthening Your Core

I’m usually not a big fan of strictly ab workouts because my core and stomach muscles get hit hard with all of the heavy free weight exercises that I train with during my workouts, but once in awhile it just feels great to do a complete workout devoted to my abs. Maybe if I was trying to do a bodybuilding competition then I would devote more time to bringing out my abs, but until then I’ll stick with an ab workout every now and then. Now when it comes to abdominal training and building up your abs, there are some important points that you need to understand. The first thing is that crunches and situps are very over rated. I rarely do them anymore, especially sit ups. I’ll occasionally do crunches with clients but only to work the rectus abdominus somewhat. I’m worried that crunches will cause any injury like sit ups because the thoracic spine is the part that is moving, not the lumbar spine. You should also not have to worry about doing count sets and reps of these 2 exercises either. This will not get you anywhere. Understand that your abs are just like any other muscle and they can respond to heavy and weighted movements. But also understand that your abdominal wall is like an onion. There are many layers of muscles responsible for different things. For example your transverse abdominus is the deepest abdominal muscle and is responsible for spinal stability and core stability. When this muscle is developed, it sort of pulls your stomach in and keeps everything tight like a girdle. This is a very important muscle that you must train to get a good set of abs.

So without further ado, let’s get into the first workout.

Ab Workout #1

Planks In Bottom Position 3×60 Seconds

This exercise is the same as the previous weeks’ except slightly harder. Place your elbows on a cushioned surface, keep your butt and back straight and hold it for as long as possible.

Back and Forth Planks 3 x 20 Reps

Assume a normal plank position like previous weeks. From the plank position, push forward on your elbows and come up on your toes so your center of gravity is forward. Try and keep your butt and lower back flat. Mine is up a bit in the picture because I was having some lower back pain that day. If you experience any lower back pain, try and hike your butt up slightly.

Overhead Weighted Crunches 3×25

Grab two dumbbells, one in each hand and raise them straight over your head while you are lying down. Perform a crunch trying to get your shoulder blades off the floor and contracting your abdominals the entire time.

Bicycles 3 x 50

Lay on your back with your hands behind your head. Crunch up and attempt to touch your right elbow to your left knee then immediately try and touch your left elbow to your right knee. Do this movement in a quick fashion back and forth without your back touching the ground and you remaining in the crunched position.

Ab Workout #2

Stability Ball In And Outs

Assume a regular plank position on the stability ball. From there, push the ball out with your elbows on the ball and bring it back in. Repeat this motion for the desired amount of reps.

Alligators

Lay flat on your stomach like so with arms out to your sides. From there, push your body up around 1-2 inches off the ground really tightening your stomach and keeping your body straight.

Pushup Rows With Weights

Assume a pushup position. From there, raise one arm up and drive your elbow back while keeping your hips as perfectly still as possible. Bring your hand down and repeat with the other side.

Knee Ups

Grab the underside of a bench and move your body towards the end. Let your legs hang down in a semi bent position and from there, contract your lower abdominal region hard pulling your knees towards your chest.

These are just two ab workouts from my program Desert Island Abs. Try them out for yourself and let me know how you feel the next day.

Something Happens in the Presence of Love

On the way to my healing room from the teaching space there is a stylized plaque I purchased at Kripalu that says “Love Heals.” I hung it at the entryway to affirm to all who enter my healing room who the true source of healing is.

Something happens in the presence of love. There is an increased ability to trust, surrender, let go and release.

We’ve all experienced this. Do you recall a moment when you could no longer carry inside yourself some unwanted feeling that had gone unexpressed for too long? Then finally, the right person and circumstances opened the door for your disclosure. Like a pin prick penetrating a stuffed balloon, the energy you were carrying was set free, allowing a new lightness and ease. There came a moment when it felt safe and right to speak a truth.

If your truth is a private pain difficult to disclose and it lands on the heart of an accepting listener, healing happens. Our shadowy parts sometimes build energy on their own, convincing us we are not okay. These shadows lurk in the corners of our heart space, giving us reasons to hide, feel guilty or unworthy. But when expressed to an accepting listener, shadows dissipate like vapor.

When we do have someone to share with on a deep level, whether a healer, partner or friend, it is a blessing. What about being your own accepting listener and supporter? This skill means you can transmute harsh feelings in the moment.

Cynthia Bourgeault is one who teachers this skill. I am blessed to have been in her presence a number of times. She is a mystic, scholar, teacher and contemplative, in the tradition of Thomas Keating. Her books and retreats have had a profound impact on many people, teaching others to welcome their shadows like long lost friends.

Cynthia teaches a “welcoming practice” in which we hold all circumstances, drama, challenges, and feelings in love’s embrace. My notes from one of her retreats: “Use everything to increase the quality and quantity of your presence in conscious love.” She describes a 3-step process. 1) when you become aware you are in the grip of emotional pain, focus; 2) Welcome it; 3) Let go.

Too often we push aside our pain, our darker feelings. We squelch our fear, anger, distrust, judgments of ourselves and others. But these shadowy sides simply need some space. What we resist persists! When we bring in the breath along with a welcoming heart, we loosen the shadows hold on our energy.

Taking on the perception of neutrality is another way to soften the blows of strong emotions. I often coach clients to consider switching their perception of strong feelings. Rather than affirm “I am angry” consider “the energy of anger is moving through me.” This alternate statement affirms our own ability to be in a place of control and distance. Feelings are related to the water element and the second chakra. Water likes to keep moving, like streams, waves, rivers and waterfalls. When stagnant, water draws bugs and green stuff. In our energy system, stuck emotions draw blockages so the energy system can’t flow freely, creating a state of being “in our stuff” rather than in our joy and freedom.

It’s valuable to know how to be your own guide to offer love to your shadows. It’s also valuable to perceive close partnership or friendships as having that higher sacred quality. For those in a love relationship or not, I highly recommend Cynthia’s book Love is Stronger than Death. Here she describes an “abler” soul that is a “third being” produced from a loving partnership. This abler soul Cynthia describes comes about as a result of profound unconditional love. When we can let even our darkest shadows out and they are received in love, the strength of that love heals us and evolves us toward our own enlightenment. The abler soul is the energy of that power…a blending of two souls steeped in unconditional love for on another.

From Love is Stronger than Death: “I believe the shadow work between the partners is the real holy ground in their relationship: untidy, messy, alchemical, holy. For what is brought into being, through it, this abler soul is not simply a blending together but a fusion at a higher level. It is a new creation, forged chiefly through the melting down of each one’s chains in the fire of unconditional love.”

The closeness of that kind of relationship is rare and a blessing. But whether you are in a relationship or not, there are methods to consider for your own spiritual progress right now:

• Do you have a deep secret you’ve never told anyone? What do you feel would happen if you did tell someone and your secret landed in a loving heart?

• Next time one of a shadowy part visits your awareness, try saying “welcome.” After all, she’s coming to you for healing. Now is the chance to give her your unconditional love. Give her a name also! This helps to distance the emotions and paves a way for a conversation! Welcome “Angry Alice”, “Sad Samantha,” “Frustrated Frannie!”

• Can you accept part of yourself as one who loves you unconditionally? What name would you give her so you could call her in when you need her? Even “Higher Self” would work – sometimes we need more than one “opinion” when these strong feelings flood us.

• Is there someone in your life whom you love? How would you go about widening your love for that person? If you place conditions on the person, how would it be if you eliminated those conditions? Consider: “I love you if you love me” vs. “I love you because it is my nature to love.”

Love heals because it is the energy of compassion, forgiveness and acceptance. Love’s power wants no holding back. Give yourself total freedom to love yourself and others. Because you ARE love, and love NEEDS you for its own expression!

HD DSLR Film Making Basics – Understanding Aperture, Speed, and ISO Relationship – Part 1 – Aperture

I started doing videography using Sony PD-170 and VX-2100 DV system, it was back 6 years ago. Now, I use all DSLR equipments to shoot my videography. The image quality is really astonishing, as now we are able to achieve Cinematic look and feeling in less than $20,000-$30,000 equipments. But the downside is DSLR is designed originally for photography, the video is the extra feature, not the other way around. So in order to operate DSLR for film making, we need to know the basics of photography itself. Which I think, most videographer that used to with the DVCAM or HDVCAM equipments will have a challenge.

Lucky for me, my background is visual graphic design and photography. Even with that, I still met a lot of challenges with DSLR. One of them is the Manual Focus, which I will discuss more details in my next articles. This time, I will discuss the basics of DSLR, from photography to videography.

As we all know, photography is one of the major breakthrough in the 19th century. The principal is very simple, it’s basically a black box with a small hole ( terms: camera obscura ), which allow the light pass and projecting image to the back of the box, and the image exposed is captured using chemical reaction to a media. Nowadays with the advancement of technology, this simple principle becomes more elaborate in pursuit of producing better and better image.

Let’s take a look at the box. The box is the camera. The small hole is the aperture. Now the aperture is controlled by the lens, which in term the quality of the lens is crucial to get the sharpest, distinct image that allows the light to pass to the media. Most of the time a good lens price will cost more than the camera itself. Another factor is, the camera technology is advancing so fast like the computer, every year we see newer model coming up, with better feature and the price went down very fast for older model. By contrast, a good lens will be used at all time no matter what kind of body camera we use.

Aperture, is “the size of that small hole”. Aperture is measured by 1/x. the x is 1.2, 1.4, 1.8, 2.8, 3.5, 4, 5.6 and so on. The smaller the “x” number, the Bigger the “hole”. Lens price normally will commensurate with “Bigger” aperture. so if you see 35 mm f/1.2 normally the price will be more expensive than 35 mm f/2.8.

Now, you might wonder why is that?

There is several factors that I can think of. First, the technical difficulty might be more challenging in producing lens with bigger aperture. Second, the demand for this lens is less than other type of lenses ( ex: zoom lenses ). It’s just economic, less demand, difficult to make means higher prices. Well I might be wrong, but this is just my take on this.

Now, you might also wonder, why the demand is less? it took really nice image right?

Yes it is. but it also needs someone with at least intermediate-advance level, to shoot a good picture with it. Trust me, artistic looks doesn’t mean it translate to more appreciation with general public. If you don’t believe me, just go to your local camera store and ask them which lens is their best seller? So the market is less for this type of lenses.

Ok, so why do we need big aperture lens for video?

I can only think of 2 reasons. First, we need it in lower light situation. The bigger the aperture, means more light comes in. Second, the “Bokeh” ( terms for that blurry background around the focused subject ) the bigger the aperture the more “Bokeh” you got. It is making the subject far more interesting and artistic than the whole frame focus.

How big of aperture do we need for video?

Again, this is more of an artistic taste of each video / cinematographer. For myself after using the DSLR for half a dozen weddings, I realized I can live with f/2.8. Because I mainly shoot for events, the pace is fast and there is no take 2 or take 3 or more. It’s only take one – and you can’t ask the bride to walk in the aisle again just for you to shoot the video. Bigger aperture can mean out of focus easily, since the 3″ screen is so small, sometimes is really took some experiences to develop “the feeling” to get the right focus.

I do use the bigger aperture like 1.4 for the scripted featurette, such as the pre-wedding featurette or short film or just for interviewing ( the talking heads ). So I have one or two lens in handy.

That’s my take on the HD DSLR film making basic – Part 1 – Aperture

There Are Plenty of Good E-Books on the Web!

Make $500 a day doing nothing! Buy this eyeball e-book and you’ll never need glasses again! These days you almost can’t surf the internet for long before coming across such boastful claims. Some of these offers are just too good to be true. If you could easily make $500.00 a day sitting and eating Cheetos, I’d be sitting there right next to you! However, most e-Books are generally good products that can provide the self-help and knowledge to tackle almost any problem.

When you buy an E-Book, you’re basically paying for knowledge.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you that anything that you can find in an e-book, you can probably find somewhere or on some website for free. The key is finding and keeping all this data. For example, to make my first successful blog, the first thing I did was read. I read forums, I read blogs, I read how to websites, ezine articles, rss feeds, ANYTHING I could find about starting a successful business. I read for a couple of months, and was finally learned enough in the basics that I could go out on my own. I learned everything I’d learned for free! The only problem is that it really did take me months to gather up all the information I required when in fact I could have purchased all this information in an online business e-book and could have saved myself a lot of time! The time I saved would easily have covered the money I would have spent on the darn book.

But not all e-books are created equal!

Just like anything else in the world that you can purchase, there are good e-books and there are poor e-books. How do you tell which is which? As someone who reviews e-books on my blog, I’ve come to rely on a few good indicators:

Search for the title of an e-book you are interested in on Google: If the e-book is of good quality and is generally going to help you then what you’ll find is a lot of people promoting the book and very little bad press. However, after searching the title of your e-book, Google hands you a bunch of sites that warn of scams, poor quality, and the e-book being a waste of money… it probably is!

Longevity is a great indicator: The internet is a fickle and brutal place. Produce an e-book and charge money for it and people are going to share exactly what they think about the book. If the e-book is crap, it won’t stand the scrutiny of the internet and the test of time. Check how long the e-book has been around. If the e-book been out for a few years and is still selling strong and getting a lot of support, then chances are you’ve found a legitimate e-book.

Testimonials are great – if they come from the right place: Make an e-book, throw together a site, and pay a writer $5.00 and he can write you some good testimonials. Don’t take a sales page word that the product is good. Check out a couple forums on the topic you’re wanting to know about and see if you can find any press on the book.

E-book reviews are one of the best ways to check out a e-book: One of the best ways to check if an e-book is good or not is to check out some reviews on the product. Blogs reviewing the product and comments from other users about the product are an excellent way to test the validity of a product. The internet is all about word of mouth, put that to your advantage! Blogs that care about their traffic and user experience are going to be honest about product reviews, or else they lose legitimacy and authority on their blog.

For every poorly written and rushed e-book out there, there are plenty of good ones on the topic of your choosing. Paying a bit of money now to have the research and legwork done for you will save you many times over in time and mistakes.

Go Away Itch – How to Know If You Have Scabies

Scabies

Scabies is an invasion of the skin by microscopic itch mites. Although the mites live on the surface of the skin the females lay their eggs under the skin. The female mites usually burrow under the skin and can stay there for a long time as they travel along a tunnel laying eggs as they go. The young mites develop within twenty one days, after which they come to the surface and the cycle is repeated.

The mites seem to favor special areas of the body such as the inside of the fingers, near the webs. Other areas of the body are the ankles and knee joints, the inside of the toes, the front of the armpits, the breast of females and the outer sex organs of boys and men. The wrist and abdomen are usually favored by the mites too, but the face is never targeted by the mites.

Symptoms

• Intense itching, especially at night

• Blisters or rashes appear especially between the fingers

• Thin raised line that looks like a pencil mark on the skin

Skin becomes sore from scratching

• The mites tend to spread out more on a baby’s skin. This usually results in pimples on the baby’s trunk or tiny blisters on the palms or soles.

• Pimples on the head, neck, shoulders, palms, and soles of young children.

Tests

The skin is examined to prove if scabies is present. For this examination, the skin is scraped right at a burrow and then examined under a microscope to see if there are any mites. There is another test that is done. This is called a skin biopsy.

Treatment

The most effective treatment for getting rid of itch mites in the body is bathing in hot water and changing your underclothing every day. You should also wash bedding and clothing in hot water, vacuum the carpets and upholstered furniture.

The infection may require that you visit your health care provider who will prescribe a medication in the form of a cream. The cream is to be applied to the affected areas of the body. Members of the family need to take precautions too. They need to apply the cream to the body whether or not there are signs of an infection. Creams are usually applied once a week and will be repeated the following week if necessary.

If the condition is considered to be extreme the health provider can prescribed an oral medication. The oral medication usually gets rid of the mites. Care must be taken that the infected person does not infect other persons with whom he comes in contact.

An individual may continue to itch while taking treatment but should never discontinue the treatment as the itching will continue and will not stop until about two weeks after. However, the patient can apply Calamine lotion to the affected areas and this will reduce the itching. The doctor can also advise you to take an oral antihistamine to ease the itching.

The majority of scabies cases are cured without any serious problems. Complications can arise if the scratching is severe enough that it causes a secondary skin infection known as impetigo.

Although scabies is a condition that is spread from person to person it is not life threatening. However, it can cause a lot of discomfort for persons who are infected.

Thinking Of Buying A Sedan? The Pros And Cons

Why would anyone want to drive a sedan? Well I think anybody who owns a sedan would agree that needing more space is the main reason people choose to drive sedans. Sedans are known to be the family type of car, the type of car you can throw your children, dog and luggage in with room to spare. So it is the practicality of the vehicle which makes it a winner with families and people who enjoy road trips.

When one is single it is easy to fit all of your belongings into a car but when you have a family the task becomes a bit more tricky. Sedans seat a minimum of 4 people comfortably with ample space in the back for cargo. Even though a sedan has different compartments for passengers and cargo the back seats can often be dropped in order to load more cargo when passengers do not need the seating. This makes it very convenient for loading large items and for rearranging a larger number of smaller items to fit in the space.

One of the main attractions when looking to buy a sedan is the ample cargo space however it does not mean that great design and luxury needs to take the back seat. Sedans come in different sizes and models. You can find a very inexpensive small to medium-sized sedan or a larger luxury sedan the choice depends on what your needs and budget are. Both the small to medium size and the luxury sedans have their advantages and disadvantages.

Fuel efficiency is also another point which many buyers consider before buying a car. Sedans which are small and midsized are more efficient than the luxury versions. A luxury sedan is bigger and because of its size it uses more fuel, so if you want a family car which is economical then I would suggest going for a small to medium size sedan. The larger luxury type sedan also has a more powerful engines which is needed because of the weight of the sedan.

Another disadvantage of driving a bigger sedan is that finding parking becomes really difficult. This type of vehicle is perfect for when used to take weekend breaks with the family but can be impractical when needing to spend lots of time driving in cities. Smaller to medium size sedans offer you and your family the comfort of driving in a spacious car while still allowing the driver ease of motion and flexibility.

When buying a sedan your primary concern is buying a car which has enough space. Whilst buying a luxury car is always a question of personal taste and financial resources, for a majority of people easy handling and fuel efficiency are still major concerns when buying a car which is why the small to medium size sedan’s are perfect for a small family. There are many makes and models of family, sports and luxury sedans on the market. Spend some time doing some online research and you are sure to find a sedan which suits your needs.
